MY BEST TEACHER

First of all, I would like to say that along my life I have had many teacher but no-one like her. Her name is Carmen and she is teaching in a small Catalan town.

I knew her when I was 28 years old and she taught me how to try being a good teacher after to pass a competition. At that time, she was not my official teacher; in fact she was my work partner. From the beginning she surprised me; she told me that to learn students should be happy and to have self-confidence. Carmen is not a traditional teacher, his way of teaching is vibrant.

What amazes me about her is that she is always with a big smile on her face, students love her. She encourages them to be themselves and happy. Absolutely all the students are happy in her class. I have never met a teacher who is dedicated to their students like her. Her lessons are amazing, students are allowed to stand up when they want and they are free to communicate with the others. She loves the natural world and many days the lessons are outside the school in contact with the real world.

She always tells them that they have to learn by themselves. She gives individual support to each student and she knows the learning needs, the problems and the preferences of her students. She has a strong belief in the inherent potential of each student.

 I am totally convinced that along the years she had made a huge difference in the lives of her students. I felt in love with her way of teaching. In fact, it has a big impact on my career.

To sum up, I would like to say that Carmen is the best teacher and perhaps one of the best persons I ever met in my life.
